کمپ فایر (انگلیسی: Camp Fire) که در سال ۲۰۱۸ در شهرستان بیوت واقع در کالیفرنیای شمالی رخ داد، مرگبارترین و مخرب‌ترین آتش‌سوزی جنگل در تاریخ کالیفرنیا است.[۷] این آتش‌سوزی در صبح روز ۸ نوامبر ۲۰۱۸ بر اثر سقوط کابل انتقال برق متعلق به شرکت گاز و برق پاسیفیک (پی‌جی اند ئی) در دره رود فدر بر اثر وزش بادهای پایین‌رو پرقدرت آغاز شد.[۸][۹][۱۰] این بادها به سرعت موجب گسترش آتش‌سوزی به منطق مسکونی کانکاو، ماگالیا، بیوت کریک کنیون و پردایس و تخریب بیشتر بخش‌های این مناطق شدند.[۱۱] این آتش‌سوزی برای دو هفته ادامه داشت و پس از سوزاندن منطقه‌ای به وسعت ۶۲٬۰۵۰ هکتار (۱۵۳٬۳۰۰ جریب فرنگی) نهایتاً در ۲۵ نوامبر مهار شد.[۱۲] این آتش‌سوزی اردوگاه منجر به کشته شدن ۸۵ نفر[۱۳] و تخلیه ۵۲٬۰۰۰ نفر شد[۱۴] و با تخریب بیش از ۱۸٬۰۰۰ سازه باعث وارد شدن خسارتی بالغ بر ۱۶٫۵ میلیون دلار شد.[۱۵][۱۶][۱۷]

شرکت پی‌جی اند ئی در ژانویهٔ ۲۰۱۹ با اشاره به بدهی‌های مورد انتظار ناشی از آتش‌سوزی بالغ بر ۳۰ میلیارد دلار اعلام ورشکستگی کرد.[۱۸][۱۹] در ۶ دسامبر ۲۰۱۹، این شرکت پیشنهاد پرداخت ۱۳٫۵ میلیارد دلار به قربانیان آتش‌سوزی‌های جنگلی را مطرح کرد که قصور این شرکت در چندین آتش‌سوزی ویرانگر از جمله کمپ فایر را پوشش می‌داد.[۲۰][۲۱][۲۲][۲۳][۲۴][۲۵] در ۱۶ ژوئن ۲۰۲۰ پی‌جی اند ئی به ۸۴ فقره قتل غیر عمد محکوم شد.[۲۶][۲۷]
