پروتئین حاوی دومِـین دی‌ئی‌پی تعامل‌کننده با mTOR (انگلیسی: DEP domain-containing mTOR-interacting protein) با به اختصار «DEPTOR» که با نام «پروتئین ۶ حاوی دومِـین دی‌ئی‌پی» هم شناخته می‌شود، یک پروتئین است که در انسان توسط ژن «DEPTOR» کُدگذاری می‌شود.^[۴] این ژن تنها در مهره‌داران یافت می‌شود و در انسان بر روی بازوی بلند کروموزوم ۸ واقع شده و طول آن ۴۰۹ اسید آمینه است.^[۵]

ساختار و عملکرد

این پروتئین ۲ دومین DEP در پایانه-N و ۱ دومین PDZ در پایانه-C دارد و یک تنظیم‌کنندهٔ مسیر پیام‌رسانی MTOR است.^[۶] مولکول‌های mTORC1 و mTORC1 هر دو می‌توانند از طریق فسفریلاسیون این پروتئین را غیرفعال کنند.^[۶] DEPTOR قادر است فرایند چربی‌سازی را تنظیم کند.^[۷] در مغز انسان، این پروتئین در هیپوکامپ، بخش داخلی-تحتانی هیپوتالاموس و «اندام‌های دور بطنی» (CVOs) بیان می‌شود.^[۸]

اگرچه در اکثر سرطان‌ها، مسیر پیام‌رسانی mTOR بیش‌فعال است و بیان DEPTOR هم کم است، یک مطالعه نشان داده‌است که DEPTOR در سلول‌های مولتیپل میلوما بیش از حد بیان می‌شود و برای بقای آنها ضروری است.^[۶]
